Jesus and his wings! What a great kid! That says it all!

There is always time to go across the street and play with our friends at Hogar De Ninos!

The Front wall of Hannah's Home now has a fresh coat of paint!

Now for the green trim on the bottom! Dave is admiring his great work! Don't forget to stay between the lines!

Like most other kids, Ricky has found and is playing with the doorbell! HA!

Terry and Dave are putting a fresh coat of paint on the front wall of Hannah's Home!

Ricky is giving Hannah's Home a good power washing! Good job Ricky!

Hi, guys, hope you are all doing well. Things here are incredible, wish you
were all here to enjoy it with us. The last few days we have been working at
Hannah´s Home cleaning, power washing, raking, etc. Last night we had
thechance to attend Pastor Moses´ church and that congregation is always
such a blessing to us! Dave and I each gave a short testimony, a Columbian
Evangelist delivered an awesome message (even though we didn´t catch
half of it) and the worship...yes, the worship, was the best! How blessed we
were!

But I must tell you the story that happened after service. This young
girl, probably 21 or 22, came up to me and asked to speak with me. I pulled
away from the group and she told me how our ministry is such a blessing to
her! She said she too had a baby at a very young age and that the experience
resulted in the death of the infant (not unusual). The poor little thing was
crying as she relayed the story. Now, I must interject the fact that
the church is located in a town where $100 per week is considered very good
income. Anyway, she said that she wanted to bless our ministry and I
was thinking volunteer labor, etc. No, she pulled out 30 soles (about $9)
and pressed it into my hand. She said thats all she had, but wanted us to
have it. I have to tell you, the humbleness I felt at that moment almost
made me weak in the knees.

I have to run right now, but thinking about this ¨widows mite¨ did, and should, teach us all something about our own sacrificial giving.

Love you all,
Terry

Hi, all! Here we are in Peru, watching the Monday Night football game
inSpanish. Oh well, at least we get to SEE the game. Today was a good
day forHannah´s Home. We were able to get alot of information about
construction in Peru and specifics about our own building plans. We went to Ace Hardware and bought a power washer and some things to help us get a jump on the next phase of the plan. We, of course, went to Hogar for some of Felix´s advice and really enjoyed the kids! I guess I always knew about the head lice problem with the children, but today I saw how bad it is by looking at the head of Natalie (No). I was a little disturbed by it (besides scratching my
own head!) and will address it with Felix tomorrow as to a proper solution.
Will you please pray for the kids and buy lice shampoo?!?! Seriously, a
monthly treatment, or more often, seems to be the best idea to me. OK, enough
about that, I bet you all are scratching, too!!!!! We put a plan in place to
get the boy living next door to Hogar back in school after not attending
this past year because his family could not afford books, uniforms, etc.
Great job Dave Bargerstock! Tomorrow we interview the guys who quoted on the Well as to what is included, etc in the price and our prayer is that we get
that all buttoned up by the end of the week. Also, we are ordering 2,000
blocks that will be delivered this week (I´m already sore). Anyway, don´t
want to bore you any more, just please keep praying! The Lord is definitely at
work here in Chilca!!!!

Love ya and miss ya,
Terry
